There are normally hoaxes at times like these and from my hazy memory - they can seem very convincing.
I find it odd that:
The Pentaprism looks rather small for a FF camera... The rather slick cover for the cable release and flash sync from D3/D300 is not there... The brochure for a D700 includes the new lenses - wouldn't they be announced separately... The photos are so awful - this can cover up a multitude of sins. In the text some of the 7s in the "D700" don''t look quite right to me... The printer/poster knows the RRSP - is this normally disclosed in the brochure - if not why not show that page? If not why tell the printer? It's unlikely Nikon yet know the launch price... As the camera won't be available for several months - why the brochure now - did that happen with a the D3?.. As Brian notes the new lenses are not so new... Why D700?..
I still think I'll get my D300 for my 50th next week....I'm not sure I can afford/justify to upgrade all my DX lenses
