"RE: Coolscan V scans not good."
JohnI'm beginning to wonder if I might be comparing apples with oranges.When I view slides, I use a smallish 'reflecta B220' viewer. It's one of those desktop things with a 240v bulb in the back.It's tungsten tinted high power buld makes the slides look real good, and when I project them, it's also via a high power tungsten bulb.The Coolscan uses LED though. A much flatter sort of light and much 'cooler'.I'm not sure Kodachrome can be reproduced by a LED.
