Yes, the ColorMunki Photo is a great system. I don't use one personally, but I am very familiar with X-Rite products and the reviews and user comments I have read are very positive. I do recommend that you make an effort to make sure you are following a sound color managed print workflow. I'm not familiar with the Canon IP5200 you mention so I can't give you advice on the optimal printer driver settings. But if you study color management principles they apply universally within the Mac and Windows environment. Here are a couple of tutorials on the subject that I recommend.
