Not sure what site you saw this on, but I imagine it would have been better stated that it’s designed to be used with 35mm full frame cameras.

If you use this with a DX body or APS-C film camera without modification to put the unit further back from the lens, the crop factor affect will prohibit you from capturing the whole frame.
