Hi Ian,

Yes, the Epson V750 can scan four strips at a time (only 24 images/ files), without requiring your interaction in between the single frames.

With my current setup (Intel i7, 16 GB ram, Win 7 and Epson software) it takes around 20 minutes to scan 24 images. I've only tested b/w films. This is without ICE, USM set to low and resolution set to 3200 as the only settings.

I'm not familiar with the Epson V700.

I would say that the photos would need some post processing after scanning. Cropping, colour and contrast adjustment etc.
