William, it is a nice photo and I hesitate to critique an image that someone says they absolutely love it. If you love this image, then as the photographer, it is a success.

Compositionally, one could argue that you have bisected the frame which can make for a static image. You have a very definite foreground and background but not much going on as middle ground; this too could make for a more static image. The background trees are a bit busy and to me, compete with the flowers.

Anyways just some ideas. Hope this helps,
