Took a day off from work yesterday to recharge my batteries. Headed up north to the cabin to plow out driveway and check on things. On the way home I decided to stop by the DuBay dam on the Wisconsin River to check on the Eagles. It was -5 degrees but there were 9 near the dam and 7 more just downriver - it was great to see so many birds there. . . Of course I didn't have my 500 with me so I made do with 300 f4 (old version with 1.4 Kenko). These are fairly heavy crops as I could have used more reach.
Thanks for looking.
