I wanted to see what I could do with the Nikon 300 f/4 EDIF AF. I chose the Sony over the D300 because it has less noise at higher ISOs, more pixels, and the LCD screen pivots. Too bad the lens purple fringes bad at or near wide open. ISO 400 for the moon, ISO 1600 for the rest.
