In one of the first posts of this series, I wrote that I tend to shoot at base ISO on a tripod at night... well, it was probably true at the time, and still is to a certain extent. But when I'm scrambling to the station because there is a bit too much snow to go to work by car, no way I'm going to set up my tripod!
ISO 1600, f/2, 1/55. A bit noisy in the dark parts, but more than just usable imho! And I don't have any f/2 wide-angle lens to mount on my D700, either - and if I had one, DoF would not cover everything here. Huzzay for the small sensor and the big brains of the X10!
