Great image. The camera can do some amazing things. I'm still trying to build confidence that the X10 Auto EXR can always get it right. I've found that when I try to intervene, I'm still a bit low on the learning curve.
For a while, I'll be able to read responses but have limited posting ability but I'm going to ask this anyway. I'll thank you now and later .
Do you have a record of what function in the camera aided in capturing this dynamic range? From the EXIF data there is a entry "Landscape Mode". The reason I'm asking is I see that the image is at ISO100. To my recollection, that means that DR was not used.
Are you using it extensively in Auto EXR? I'm going to be depending on the camera heavily over the next few weeks and I've decided to depend on that setting. My wife will mostly be using this camera, but I hope to get some time with it.
The colors in this image are quite striking and warm, but I can't help noticing the Fuji (cyan) Sky. It's almost like there was Fuji Superia400 in this camera.
Roger It's still, ISO, aperture and shutter-speed, right?
