I'm like Olivier. I tried a P6000 and it just didn't do the job. It was a good size, but it just didn't have the capability. I now have an x10. It does not confuse anyone into thinking it is a replacement for a D3, D2x, or even a D3200. But it fits in a jacket pocket (although not a vest pocket), the battery lasts a good long time, has A/S/M exposure modes, records raw files, has a sharp lens, and the net IQ is good.
My workflow normally is centered around LR, with occasional but serious trips to CS5. Both the x10 and P6000 fit transparently into that workflow.
