Thanks for your reply. "Nitpicking" is the proper word. I don't mind a little noise in an image, it often is not noticed unless you have a greatly enlarged print, as you have said. With current digital sensors, the noise is a lot less visible than the the grain was visible in high ISO 35mm color film. I am considering the two lenses you used, when I shot 35mm my favorite lenses were a 35mm f2.0 and a 105mm f2.5. These two lenses are about the same in 4/3 format, and a whole lot smaller and lighter. They have gotten good reviews from users as to optical quality.
