Thanks Ken, I'll go back to the manual ( ) on the SCP. There is a pretty good settings guide done by a member of the Dpr staff and one of the members.
The mid-range zooms, that I have, remind me of the 18-70 kit lens...good but not great . The 25 1.4 , from the shots I've seen, seems very good. Let us know your thoughts. I do not mind having both the 20mm 1.7 and 25 1.4 since both cameras will get a lot of use.
I really hear you on 'letting the wallet heal' . I have not pushed my guy on the D800 since I am still hoping for a D400 this year! The Fuji X100 still interests me but price, and the number of cameras we have, puts it at the bottom of the list.
My wife loves the colours coming out of the E-P3 jpegs and although not as small as your E-PL2 and your soon to have GF3, it is a very reasonable size with the 20 mm for carrying all the time (much smaller than her D90/35 1.8 ) . Cheers, Tom
