Anyone have any experience with handling or comments about the Olympus OM-D EM5? I am still looking at getting a smaller and lighter camera. I want a viewfinder and no shutter lag, which rules out the P&S cameras. I handled the Olympus at a local store, and it seems to fit the bill as far as size and weight, and is a DSLR in function. It was similar in weight to the D3200 and D5100 I was able to compare it that were with fitted with the very light 18-55 VR DX lens, but the Oly is much more compact when fitted with the Olympus 14-42mm lens. I have some serious reservations about getting used to an unfamiliar control layout and very different menu system. On the plus side, I can get adapters to use some of my Nikon lenses, an important feature. The few reviews I have found indicate satisfactory IQ, and some comments about the operating system, both positive and negative. Another consideration is the rumored new Nikon DSLRs coming out in the near future. They may have some desireable features that may make make me willing to carry the extra weight! I currently have a D300 and and D90. Can any Nikonians weigh in with their views?
