Glancing over the specs it appears that the AF is the most changed but Canon has tried so many different AF systems trying to catch up to Nikon that real world testing will have to be done before anyone claims it is an improvement. The other feature, a new sensor with an extended ISO range, going by Canon's track record of highly inflating ISO figures, will have to wait for real world tests to see if it is that much improved. Otherwise, it looks like the D800/e is the camera to get for studio, portrait, video, landscape, and those needing reach. $3500 is less than predicted but still a big difference in favor of the D800. The D4 and D800 stand to be the real winners in price/performance ratio, and for absolute performance.
