It that a Manfrotto or Gitzo ladder?

That's about what I'm doing now, except I have the ladder in "platform" configuration, raised on two metal storage containers. My tripod and umbrellas are clamped to the ladder. It's solid, but a bear to move and reconfigure.

I noticed that you are using a ball head and some clamps that look like they have quick-release plates. Mind telling me what you're using?
