After looking the field over, I've decided to go with the Markins Q20 ball head with lever release. I know it's about the same price as for the RSS model... but I think the Q20 is better suited to my needs. One question... what plate should I get for using both my 70-200 Nikon and 150-500 Sigma tripod collar mount? In the past I've nevr had to worry about specialized plates for a ball head, dependent upon camera model.
