Il mio italiano si è arrugginito, so here it goes in English:

When dropped over the open channel without adjusting the level, it would be about 91.25 degrees if your tripod legs are in perfect level.
I set it at perfect level with a 3-axis bubble level when without an L-Bracket, or with the virtual level in the camera's menu.
when using a Sidekick I seldom adjust it, but it can be done easily using the main friction knob.

The L-bracket allows you to change the camera orientation without having to drop the clamp, in fact, without moving it at all.
