Have always mounted the flash with camera and flash off.
Turn on camera, turn on flash. Flash charges red pilot turns green ready to go.
Halfway push on shutter release always brings the top displays led light on.
It does time out. And the flash enters sleep mode after 30 seconds on standby.
Another push on the shutter and the flash pilot turns green ready to go. But on comes the top screens light once again.
I appreciate its not going to drain out the battery anything like using the cameras own pop up flash. And the performance of this Nissin is on a par with Nikons SB700 but for less than half the money.
Cant see anything in the settings that would cure this.
So if any D7000 owners have the Nissin fitted to there hot shoe
Do you have the same problem ?
And is there a fix for it ?
Much appreciate your comments.
