It can depend on the camera - I find that my wife's D50 is always a tad over exposed but my D200 and D2Xs are spot on... I underexpose the D50 by 1/3 - 2/3 of a stop for most outdoor stuff...

D3 + 20mm f2.8 AFD + 105mm f2.8 AFD + 300mm f4 AFS
