I'd agree with BJ on that one: the fact that it's effectively an F80 with a digital back reduces its appeal when compared to a dedicated design.
I also have some concerns about some aspects of the image quality from the very limited number of samples we've seen to date: it appears to share the S1's tendency to stair-step high contrast diagonals (e.g. power lines against a blue sky). On the other hand its resolving power appears a cut above the other 6MPixel cameras.
I'm looking forward to seeing Phil Askey at DPReview do a comparison of the three cameras you mention - and the Sigma SD9, too.
