The SD-9 is going to be significantly cheaper here in the UK, going for £1300 (list) compared to the D100 at around £1750 (typical price in the shops). Phil Askey\'s preview of the technology (note this wasn't the chip that will appear in the SD-9) looked impressive; the downside is that the SD-9 will have a 1.7x multiplier / field of view crop compared to the D100's 1.5x.

As Victor said, it will be very interesting to see what happens when the reviewers get their hands on the camera.
