Thank you for your reply. I do realise that there are other costs.

I thought the compact flash is a one time, or two time cost.

I have posted this before - I think it is much cheaper in the long run to get prints done at the photo shop and they look better. For enlargements, the price for regular prints is the same as digital. Since I would probably only print the best shots, I can't imagine this really being a cost.

If I bought the N80, I would be getting an SB-50DX anyway.

My question, as per professional camera was towards the image quality. Do you own one and do you find the image quality approximately that of say an N80 or F100?
