Since no one seems to have tried out this beauty yet, I guess it was up to me, I did get it. Yes, I love it. Just for its looks, heck if it shoots terrible pics, it will still make an impression!! Just having fun folks. It does handle and perform well. I am by no means a professional, just somewhere past beginner. My first shots with it were on a tripod shooting some birds at a feeder. It focuses fast, faster than any other lens I have. Because of its 2.8 aperture, my shutter speed is much faster allowing for sharp photos, (once I post process them, I still shoot in auto mode alot). Setting WB to cloudy does help with color balance on a sunny day and I have set my sharpness setting to high just because I do not like to post process.

Anyway I like the lens, I will let you know if I have any gripes with it in the future.

I always want the next model up!
