I agree. The people in the background would have had to been completely still also for that to have been 1/10 of a second. You might have it checked out at a camera shop, or call Nikon for some advice on that, if it really is displaying that.

On the ISO, I personally do not use Auto because I never know what I am shooting. I use 200 outdoors and use 400 or 800 indoors as a starting point.

Indoors I usually use program mode, as I am not used to the exposure on my D100 yet. Outdoors I use Aperature priority.

Good luck, and let us know what you find out about the crazy shutter readings. It looks like that was at least 1/60th of a second if not faster.
