"RE: Image too dark and or Contrast in D100"
Here are two examples of pictures which are straight out of the camera with exception of sharpening since I have that off. I shoot mostly RAW and mostly manual. On my site you can also see the transportation section. all that section was taken yesterday (January 12, 2003.) Most of those pictures only needed a small curve adjustement because I purposely underexposed due to the intense sun conditions.
