Yeah, well. Power to the RAW format, but it still begs the question as to why the D100 won't produce "instant snaps" when everything is on auto, P, and so on. I think it's a reasonable expectation for someone to pick up the camera, check the camera is in charge of everything, and if there are no extreme shooting conditions, to get a pciture that's spot on.

I love using RAW for critical work.

I hate having to tweak things to get a simple snapshot looking normal.
