I would have to second Darrell on that one. Medium format always seems to be the goal of many a photographer (image sharpness, depth, etc.).
I stopped by my local camera shop today - the same one that I frequent often. They had a huge print displayed (I believe it was a 13 x 19 - or close) and it was framed. Anyway, it stops you dead in your tracks due to it's remarkable beauty, color, depth, sharpness and...well, lifelike qualities. I asked them which "medium format" camera they took that with. They said, and I quote..."surprise - it was from a D100!" They had taken the file (originally RAW, converted to a 17.2 Meg TIF) and had it printed on a superly calibrated Frontier Machine at a place called North Carolina Tri Color.
Mannn, after seeing that, I have little doubts of the resolution capabilities of the 6 MP format.
