I'm asking not about the automatic slow synch mode but my own slow synch method in which I choose shutter time by hand. Once again: Camera in M mode - I decide what shutter time I want, I only control my settings on the bar in the viewfinder and compare them to the settings proposed by the meter. Flash works fully automatic (TTL) and takes care of flash intensity. Now, can I shoot in the same manner with the D100? I wouldn't ask but recently I discovered that digital Canons can't so I'm no longer sure that Nikon maintained this possibility with their digital SLRs.
