As I have the D7100 I already have the "tack sharp" element, it is remarkable. So much so that if I was buying my D800 now it would be the D800E I bought. I use DX mostly for bird photography and the removal of the AA filter has certainly enhanced the sharpness of my results. So, once again my list would be purely for the same sensor + the others I mentioned.

I think I would always prefer to convert my RAW image via Silver Efex to monochrome post processing as I always feel that no matter the B&W result out of camera I'd still be adjusting the result post capture to increase the contrast qualities.
