I am pretty sure it cannot be done. The two parts of the specs do not work together.
The the limit of 100 continuous frames is just a count; it has no rate.
The 8 fps exposure limit requires room in the buffer to store the images. The buffer will be emptied while more images are added, but at a much lower rate than it is being filled. As a result, the 8 fps rate will be maintained only for 22-23 frames in the D300. After that, the input rate into the buffer will only be that of the output rate.
To maximize the number frames using the frame rate, you need to maximize the images in the buffer. That means you will need to be shooting JPG, small size, optimized for size.
