Has the D7000 and it's successors become the new "proline" in DX bodies? I have already thought for most users the D7000 was a better camera than the D300S.There were certain preferences such as larger hand grip and ? better autofocus with the D300, but it seemed most things were already better with the D7000 line.
Now they have announced the D7100 before the D300 line is upgraded. I think it will be hard for anyone to argue the D300/300s is better than the D7100. Again there may be user preferences for a larger body.
Will they upgrade the D300 line or let it slowly die with the D300S?
Is there a better camera out there for wildlife?
Think about pairing the new 800mm w 1.2 TCE to this camera. Talk about reach.
