I want to print a D300 (12MP) file at 24x36. Is there something special I need to do to print this large? By default the image opens up in PS at 9.5" x 14.3" 300ppi. If I turn off Resample Image and change the dimensions to 16x24 the resolution drops to 177ppi. Should I resample the image in PS? If so, do I use Bicubic Smoother, or is it better to resample in another program like Perfect Resize (which I don't own by the way)? I hear some folks talk about viewing distance of a larger print, so would the viewing distance of a 16x24 make it unnecessary to resample up and just let the resolution fall to 177ppi. I have never printed this large before and am a little confused about what I should do. Any help is greatly appreciated. This will be printed as a canvas wrap if that makes any difference.

Thanks,
Tony
