The only issue you might have is your ability to manually focus. Use the focus confirmation dot at the bottom left of the viewfinder.
Just enter the lens focal length and aperture in the Shooting Menu "Non-CPU Lens data". If you have more than one mf lens you will have to enter the lens data again when you change to the new mf lens. If you only have one mf lens the camera will automatically use that data automatically without needing to re-enter the data. Nikon's newer bodies allow you to save the data for up to 9 lenses to choose from. The D200 only has a single setting which you must change when using other mf lenses.
Also when using flash you should set the metering to Spot. If it's set to matrix or center area metering your photos will under expose.
