I didn't mean to imply that DX lenses would stop working.. but 4-5 years from now, when you have a FF 40mp camera that can shoot in the dark, will you be putting your DX lens on that? Or breaking out the old and then obsolete D400?
Just doesn't seem to make sense, simply put.. to produce high end new DX lenses just to stop your DX line of bodies. I think we may be reading into the delayed D400 (or whatever it will be)
Not all of us can upgrade to FF overnight.. which is the crux of the issue.. and if DX bodies stop coming, well I think we'll have to basically give our good DX glass away.
I was going to skip the d300/s as I'm quite happy with my D200.. but with prices coming down (d300s $500-$600) -- I may just feed the NAS and "upgrade" to one of those.
Old tech, but new to me.
I think just the larger LCD alone might be nice.. the extra buttons, and that stop more of high ISO i read about now and again.
