"RE: D300s does not fire in low light"
Under such difficult conditions you may need to change the AF setting so that the shutter fires upon release, not focus. If the shutter is set to fire only if focus is achieved, and the camera cannot confirm focus under the given conditions, the shutter will not fire.It goes without saying that you need to be sure you have focus if taking shots without confirmation from the camera.Garrett
