I've had my D200 since the day they became available....not sure when that was. It has become like an appendage. I have gotten to the point where I use it without thinking about which button or setting to use and find myself hard pressed to explain how to do something on the camera if asked....in other words, it is second nature, it is automatic....which is a good thing.
I don't see my roadmap including FX. For me it offers almost nothing I need. So my roadmap is looking pretty short right now:
If something doesn't happen soon with Nikon....either a D400 or some firm indication that they are not going to pursue high end DX....I will need to reevaluate my whole kit and maybe even my needs. I cannot imagine that Nikon would not fit into that evaluation (I haven't used anything but Nikon in over 20 years), but if Nikon can't meet my needs I would look elsewhere. I doubt _very_ seriously anyone else would meet those same needs but if Nikon pushes me to think outside the Nikon 'box' it would be silly not to do so.
