That sounds like a great price for a refurbishment. I've never had a camera refurbished but I did just inquire from Nikon about a "clean and inspect". I was told that the service normally ranges from $140-300 depending upon what is found during the inspection.
If you do have the refurbishment done, please post with your thoughts about the process and the quality of the refurbishment.
