Thanks to all. I also read on Photo.net that some were using K1 on AF bodies without a problem. Even Bjorn Rorslett posted there that he had no problems. One photographer reported that it can rub the contacts with a AF lens, but OK on AF bodies. I don't plan on using AF lenses with it, so I should be OK.
When I get it I will try on my lesser N6006 until I get comfortable with it. It's always good to have a body you don't care about to be the guinea pig.
