After a short stay in London city, passed by Grays of Westminster and ended up with a "new" D300 (Exc++ condition) to my GF (she'll upgrade from a D70s, which i'll convert it to IR). What a nice camera, very solid, robust and clean. Tried a few shots with my 16-85 and got very pleased with the results, even at ISO3200. Much better than my D90 and, for me, was a better moved than the D7000 route. Let's see tomorrow if she will like it (she spent all the time complaining about the small LCD from the D70s 2", compared to my D90/D700 one). She´s falling in love with this hobby, as i am, and she made a huge progress with her D70s during last year (loving AF-ON back focusing and shooting totally manual), joining me in some workshops, and photowalks. Once again, thank you guys for sharing your thoughts. That's why i'm more and more "inside" Nikonians!!!
Nikonians!!! My best investment made after my camera!!!
