It would be helpful to know a couple of more things:

Wired or wireless.

IR or RF for wireless.

Do you want intervalometer control?

Do you want an interrupt release or intruder release?

Do you want lightning detector?

Do you want to control strobes?

Are you mixing studio and Nikon Speedlights or Canon Speedlites?

Do you want to control multiple devices with a time delay?

Nikon units are expensive but they are very well built and take a fair amount of abuse.

There are 3rd party units that work as both wired and RF wireless.
