Things to think about: First of all, the sensor cleaner is great. I set mine to clean when I turn the camera on and off.
How you want to set ISO: I set mine at LO 0.3 (about 160), and variable, going up to 3200. Your camera will do a great job all the way up the ISO's.
Shooting 14-bit RAW (much better than 12-bit), or RAW + JPEG (I shoot only RAW)
You will LOVE the feel--especially if you have big hands!
My advice: Read, read, read a manual.
Flash: only pops up when you pop it up--GREAT!
Relax and enjoy making pictures!!! The versatility is tremendous! Battery charges last seemingly forever!
Again, hard to put into words, but the ergonomics of the camera, the shape of the grip, the wonderful rubber tackiness of the touch, the balance, pleasurable to hold like my old Leica IIIf.
I was looking at D90's, D7000, D5100, etc., and playing with them yesterday at Best Buy, and though they are fantastic cameras, there is a certain feel they don't have, that your camera will. You will understand what I mean when you pull it out of the box and cradle it in your hands. Enjoy.
