Except the D600 has a fatal flaw in my eyes: it is FF and that is not what I am looking for. So for now I grit my teeth and shoot my D200 at ISO 1600 in extreme low light conditions, compensate as best I can in post.
And yes, I did borrow a D7000 from a relative, but stil do not want one for myself, focus in low light fails while even the old D200 manages to focus.
If either D600 or D7000 work for you, good for you
