I had this problem only in my case it was with a D3S and 105 f2.8.
When I had place the lens on the camera, I must have had it cocked slightly, which caused it to jam. This while shooting a wedding. I was able to remove the lens after about 5 minutes. No damage to either the camera or lens mount.
