Hello Petter,

I have 13 lenses that have had the AF either adjusted or checked on my D800 and D3X bodies. I found that both bodies gave me nearly the exact results.

9 lenses the same on both bodies. The range was between -10 and +17 , 3 were 0.
3 lenses were within 5 units.
1 lens was within 10 units. I'll have to test this lens again.

On my D800 I tested a total of 34 lenses, 5 of which were the lenses with different TC's attached. 16 lenses required no adjustment at all.

I only tested 15 lenses on my D3X, 7 required no adjustment.

On both of my bodies only 2 needed a - adjustment with most between 0 and +10. 2 lenses were +15 and 1 was +17.

It does look like your D3X could use an adjustment however since you are within the adjustment range and happy with your results I wouldn't send it in.
