B & H included some extras, too. There was a camera bag, which looks pretty nice. An off-brand battery, which I'm not sure whether I will use, and a wireless shutter release. I bought the Camranger, so I probably won't use the wireless they provided.
I bought the 300mm F/4.0 to go with it. Put it on and I SHOT THE CAT! They have learned to turn their heads whenever I point anything black, toward them.
I also shot a fuchsia plant outside. Speed of the lens is a pleasant surprise.
First thing I did on the camera, was adjust the diopter and then put auto ISO. I decided to turn Daylight Savings Time on, since I doubt it takes TOO much power.
It came with 12,800 set, but the auto ISO turned off. The shutter was preset to Priority mode, single shot (I quickly turned to CH).
