Hi - Thanks for the helpful reply. I'll give them a call next week and see what they say.
BTW, I found a temporary work-around: Since the only thing wrong with the camera is it's inability to close down a lens diaphragm, I can still use it in situations where I'd most likely be shooting wide-open anyway. (With a D2x set @ ISO 100 or 200, this is quite often the case! 8>)
