I think you could literally pound nails with it.


I made the stupid mistake of leaving my D90s, 70-300, and 28-105 on the roof of my car one day. I drove away and watched it all tumble onto the pavement at about 30mph in my rear view mirror. The body was banged up, cracked pretty good. The lenses looked like hell too. A quick twist on the barrel of the 70-300 and worked fine the 28-105 and body went to Nikon. The lens cost $150 to fix like new but the camera was sent back as "unrepairable". It works great to this day with no loss of function. It doesn't display all of the info in the viewfinder anymore but that's all of the problems I've had with it.

I recently dropped my 18-55VR from my waist and it's complete garbage. Ha!
