I'm the very happy owner of a refurbished D3s, with one small, slightly irritating issue. The spring-loaded lamp position on the power switch has failed. It still operates the lamp just fine but it's lost the "spring-loaded" part of its operation. It's a minor issue so it has me wondering if its really worth the hassle and downtime of sending in for repair? Any harm in just operating it as is?
I have never sent anything to Nikon for repair thus uninformed about the process or the downtime needed for such a repair.
Would this issue cause you enough pain to send it in?
