Right now Oleg Kikin doesn't rate the D4. I assume that's due to a lack of data. The camera's not been in general use for a year yet.
The D4 continues the use of the Kevlar reinforced carbon fiber composites for its shutter. The D3, D3S and D3X used these materials for their common shutter.
Nikon modified the shutter from the D3 series for the D4. Nikon says their tests indicated the D4's shutter will work for 400,000 actuations, 33% more than the D3, D3S and D3X which they rated at 300,000.
